This website
These pages are static files: HTML, CSS, and a small menu script that lives with the site. They do not include an account, a form, or a payment.
The pages do not include analytics or tracking. They do not set cookies. They do not load fonts, scripts, or images from another website. They ask the browser not to send a referrer.
The pages do not ask you to type your name, email address, or other personal information. If you use the email link, your message is handled by your own email program, not by a form on this website.
This website is hosted by Google Firebase Hosting. Google processes incoming IP addresses to provide the service, detect abuse and analyze usage, and says Hosting retains IP data for a few months. The pages do not include analytics or tracking scripts. This website hosting is separate from The Repository app and does not receive your vault items. Firebase Hosting privacy information.
The Repository app
The app is separate from this website. It is not available yet, and it is not on the App Store. It is for iPhone and iPad, on iOS 17 or later and iPadOS 17 or later. There is no Mac app.
Items you keep are stored encrypted on your device.
The app has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash-reporting SDK, no tracking, and no backend. Its privacy manifest lists no tracking and no collected data types.
That manifest lists what the app declares. It is not an App Store privacy label, because the app is not on the App Store.
Network
Two actions use the network. Buying or restoring Repository Pro uses Apple StoreKit, and StoreKit uses the network. Opening a website link you saved uses your browser, outside the app.
The app does not fetch a preview of a link, and it does not fetch the page behind a link. Do not read this page as saying the app never uses the network.
Photos
Photo library access is optional and is used to browse your library and copy the photos and videos you choose. Browse Photos can include the Hidden album when you choose Library + Hidden or Hidden only. iOS may ask for Face ID before showing that album.
Saving a copy to Photos uses a separate optional permission. Photos & Videos uses the system photo picker and is a separate way to add photos and videos.
Adding an item copies it. The original stays in Photos or in Files.
Copies you make
Sharing or exporting creates a copy outside the vault. A copy you save to Photos, share, or export sits outside the app. The action in the app is a copy, not a removal of the item you kept.
For a photo or video the app shows a warning before the system share sheet. Social posting targets are not included.
Backups
You can create a backup file and save the .vaultbackup file where you choose, then restore from that file. Creating and restoring a backup does not require Repository Pro.
There is no automatic backup and no iCloud sync. The vault is excluded from device backups and from iCloud backups, so those backups do not include the vault.
Purchases
Up to 20 items, unlimited with Repository Pro (one-time purchase)
Apple handles the payment through StoreKit. StoreKit uses the network. This website does not take payment and does not state a cost.
Opening the app
The app can open with Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode. You can add an optional app passphrase, an authenticator step, and recovery steps. Those are on the device. This website does not receive them.
Children
This website does not ask anyone, including children, for personal information. The app does not ask for an account. Its privacy manifest lists no collected data types.
Changes
If the app’s handling of data changes, this page will be updated to match.
